Longest Day Tournament Success Story

Every year I attend this event and I am always so amazed at the outpouring from Club Green Meadows members. This event is organized by my friend Jill Watson to honor her mother. ♥  Jill works so hard to put this together and this year she raised $41,000 for Alzheimer’s research. We played tennis, pickleball and golf with so many amazing people.  I would not miss this event and felt very proud to be part of this amazing charity event to support the research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer’s, including more than 5 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer’s and dementia. We must take action now, or these numbers will continue to rise.

A big thank you to everyone who made our 9th annual “The Longest Day” fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association such a success! Whether you participated, volunteered, donated, or simply came out to enjoy the day, your contribution made a real difference.

We had an incredible turnout, with over 200 people in attendance! Thanks to your generosity, we raised a record-breaking amount of over $30,000 on the day, bringing our total 2024 campaign fundraising to an impressive $42,150!

Your kindness, friendship, and support are truly inspiring. We can’t wait to see you all again next year!
